Show Milo Andrus Honored At Final Rites Thursday In St. George Tabernacle Funeral services for Milo Andrus An-drus were held in the St. George stake Tabernacle Thursday afternoon after-noon at 4 p. m., under the direction of Bishop Harold S. Snow of the South ward. James McArthur spoke of the ancestry and family of Milo Andrus. An-drus. He told of the fine boyhood association he enjoyed with him and mentioned h i s outstanding qualities of character. In conclusion conclu-sion mentioned the resurrection and the blessings promised the faithful. Mr. Lee of Panaca, Nevada told of the years he had known Mr. Andrus while he was working on the ranch at Caliente. He told of the love the people in that section had for him, especially those in Lincoln county. "He believed in treating other people right and preached fine sermons by actions, not words. The people there, especially es-pecially the Ryan family regretted they could not be in attendance," said Mr. Lee. Arthur F. Miles spoke on the family, the joy Mr. Andrus had in his work, compared his life of good deeds with the life of the richest men showing how much greater his acts have boon in comparison. Bishop Harold Snow read a telegram tele-gram received from the Ryan family fam-ily which paid a tribute to the life of the deceased Interment was made in the city cemetery, the grave being dedicated dedi-cated by George Brooks. |
