Show RockviHe Mrs. Philerus Jones Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Afton Stout and Gordon Jones left for their home in Berkeley, Calif, after visiting relatives here the past week. We are glad to welcome back to our midst our school teachers, Mrs. Sullivan, Mrs. Lillian Workman Work-man and Mrs. Dessie Jones. Things seem to take on new life when school opens. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Graff and children left for New Harmony Friday. Mr. Graff will teach school there the coming winter. Byron Millett's family have moved into the Richard Demill home. Miss Given Hirschi returned home Friday from Maplcton where she visited her aunt. Mrs. Bob Snow. Dee Cox and sons are finishing the home of Elwin Ballard. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jarvis of House Rock. Ariz, visited at the home of Mrs. Clara Stevens. Also. Earl Parker was with them. Mrs. Jones is the mother of Lawrence Moody of RockviHe, with whom they visited. Mrs. Caroline Lemmon is some better at this time. The primary was reorganized last Sunday. The retiring presidency presi-dency included Mrs. Ada Demill. who has moved to Parowan. her counselors, Mrs. Alice Ballard and Mrs. Ruby Averett. Mrs. Averett was chosen as president with Alice Ballard and Mamie Mahan as her aids with Mrs. Mythle Hirschi as secretary. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Harmon and family of Fresno. Calif, visited with Bishop and Mrs. Waldon Ballard, Bal-lard, sister of Mr. Harmon. The M.I. A. started off Tuesday night on their winter's work, with a party which was well attended. |
