Johnson, of Hurricane, Utah,' who, on Oct. 5, 1933, made stockraising homestead entry, No. 050561, for Lot 4 Sec. 18, Twp. 43 South, Range 10 West, SS' Sec 13, SSE, NWSE Sec. 14, NEM, Sec. 23, NNW, Vy2NE, Section 24, Township 43 South, Range 11 West., Salt Lake Meridian has filed notice of intention to make final Proof, to establish claim to the land above described, before J. NOTICE TO WATER USERS Office of State Engineer. .Salt Lake City, Utah, August 12, ; 1938. Notice is hereby given that the Veyo Irrigation Company, Veyo, Utah, has made Application, in accordance with the laws of Utah, to change the point of diversion and place of use of 0.34 sec. ft. of water from Santa Clara creek in Washington county, Utah. Said water has heretofore been diverted from January 1 to December 31 inclusive of each year, into the John and James Chadburn ditch, at a point located N. 66 deg. 8 min. W. 2300.5 ft. from the SW Cor. Sec. 14, T. 39 S., R. 16 W., SLB&M., and used by virtue of a right represented by'item No. 10 of the Santa Clara Creek decree, entered en-tered November 6, 1922, to irrigate 22 acres of land .embraced in Sees. 15 and 22, T. 39 S., R. 16 W., SLB&M. Of said 0.34 sec. ft 0.25 has been used for domestic and stock-watering purposes two hours daily during the months of June, July August and September, and 24 hours daily during the remainder of the year. It is now proposed to continue to divert said water into the Southern Utah Power Company canal, which is an enlargement of the John and James Chadburn ditch, convey it thence to power plant No. 2 where it will be used as a supplemental supply to generate gener-ate 1,000 H.P. of electrical energy After being so used, the water will be released into the Veyo Irrigation Irriga-tion Company canal and used as a supplemental supply to irrigate 700 acres of land embraced m parts of Sees. 5, 6, 7, and 8, T. 40 S.. R. 16 W., Sec. 36, T. 39 S R 17 W., and Sees. 1, A li. and 13, T. 40 S., R. 17 W.. SLB&M. As much of said water as is necessary neces-sary will be diverted from the Southern Utah Power Company canal by pipe lines and used for incidental domestic and stock-watering stock-watering purposes. This Application is designated in the office of the State Engineer as No. a-1418. All protests resisting resist-ing the granting of said Application, Applica-tion, with reasons therefor, made in affidavit form, must be Wed with T. H. Humphreys, State Engineer.
