Mrs. Allbright was the former Miss Cora Nordin, daughter of the host and hostess. Winsor and daughters, Katharine and Maralyn, returned last Thursday evening from spending two weeks visiting with friends and relatives in Provo, Salt Lake City, Ogden, Logan and Nephi, and attending general conference. In Logan they were guests of instructors of the U.A.C., with whom they have had frequent associations through Dr. Winsor.'s position in Cornell. In Nephi, they visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Bigler, Mrs. Bigler being Mrs. Winsor's sister. Heppler left for his home in Salt Lake City Tuesday after attending the Seegmiller reunion. D. M. McMurtrie and family are here on an extended visit with his father, Mathew McMurtrie. Mr. McMurtrie states that he is looking look-ing around with the view of locating locat-ing here permanently. Crest Beacham, a friend, accompanied them here from Pittsburg. Mr. McMurtrie says that he is impressed im-pressed with the possibility of raising turkeys in this section. Mrs. Bessie E. Law is here from Beaver to spend some time visiting visit-ing with her mother, Mrs. Ovilla L. Empey. The Saturday Night Bridge club met the evening of April 16 at the home of Mrs. Mary McArthur. Miss Ethel Blair left recently for Shiprock, New Mexico, to spend some time caring for the family of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Evans while Mr. Evans is in Salt Lake City receiving sur gical treatment. Mrs. Evans will be remembered as the former Miss Emma Blair of this city. Mrs. Mary Marshall and daughter, daugh-ter, Nell, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Judd, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Marshall, Mrs. Mary Wilde and Jack Supthin motored to Cedar City Sunday to enjoy the day visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Baxter and family. ;i - Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
