Show Seminary To Hold First Graduating Exercises Announcement is made by J. Ralph Wilkins, principal of the St. George Seminary, that the first graduation exercises for Seminary students will be held Thursday evening, May 12. The seminary course covers three years of work in the field of Old Testament history, New Testament history and L.D.S. Church history. "This is the second year that this community has had seminary work", states Mr. Wilkins, Wil-kins, "but due to the fact that some of the students studied and completed two courses last year, or are taking two this year, it is possible to have a graduating class this spring." The list of graduates is as follows: fol-lows: Mildred Bentley, Edith Lue Blake, Bonita Burgess, Lila Ilene Hall, Lois Jennings, Alice Marie Nickelson, E. Grant McMullin, Marion McMullin, Verl Paxman, Phoebe Prisbrey, Homer H. Robertson, Shirley Tobler and Gwendlyn Betty Turner. Class officers are as follows: Mildred Bentley, president; Homer H. Robertson, vice-president; Shirley Tobler, secretary and treasurer and Marion McMullin, reporter. |
