Show NRS Places Many Utah Unemployed In Past 2 Years Approximately 90,000 Have Been Employed Through Services of This Dept. Approximately 88,014 place-ments place-ments have been made by the Na-tional Na-tional Reemployment Service in the last two fiscal years in Utah, according to a report made public today by A. B. Andrus, interviewer inter-viewer of the local National Reemployment Re-employment service office. Of these, 17,744 were placements in private industry. The figures are available in a report made to Secretary of Labor Lab-or Francis Perkins by W. Frank Persons, Director of the United State Employment service. It shows that approximately 9,000,-000 9,000,-000 job placements have been made all over the country by the various State Employment services serv-ices and the National Reemployment Reemploy-ment service during the two-year period. Of these, 2,250,208 were placements in private industry.
