Show To Hold Funeral Services Today for Francis Albert Blair Funeral services will be held at 4:00 this afternoon in the stake Tabernacle for Francis Albert Blair who died between 5 and 6:00 Tuesday morning at the local hospital hos-pital where he had been taken the previous evening for treatment. He had suffered from high blood pressure for some time and nearly three weeks ago he came to St. George from Pleasant Grove to stay with his daughter, Mrs. Anne Moss. He had seemed no worse than usual until Monday evening when he became very ill. He was born August 26, 1887 at St George, Utah, a son of Tarlton ; Michel and Lydia Allen ;Blair 1 Dixie Pioneers. He spent his boyhood boy-hood here and at Price City taking tak-ing advantages of all schooling of-ferred of-ferred at that time. ( Vi o St He was married m the bt. George Temple April 19, 1889, to Louisa Booth and to this union 10 children were born, eight of whom are living. There are: James, of Orenr Mrs. Herbert Beck, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Carl Moss, St George; Mrs. Halvan Farr and (Continued on Supplement) . Mr. Blair followed the occupation occupa-tion of freighting and farming and on October 17, 1925 moved with his family to Provo bench where he continued to farm and they made their home there for five years. They then moved to Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove where they have since resided. Besides his wife and children he is survived by 19 grandchildren; one sister, Lottie Bryner of St. George; one half-brother, John C. Blair of Wilmington, California and two half-sisters, Mrs. Mattie Dykeman and Mary E. Lyle of Ogden. His brother, Tarlton Blair died two weeks ago. |
