CarliPi; had tire misfortune mis-fortune to fall at the school house (Friday niht and cut her leg quite badly and is unable to walk. As a P.-T. A. project for this y-ar, we have our new stage set-I set-I tings, curtains, etc. The school board bought the material and Nome of the men and women donated do-nated their work in making them. I They are all finished except paint-j paint-j ing and that will be done by Dean Lauitzen. j The P.-T. A. had ther closing program and dance Friday night, j A large crowd was present and I everyone enjoyed the evening. Sev-leral Sev-leral from Cane Beds attended. The program consisted of a one-act one-act comedy which lasted an hour, entitled, "Pepping Up the P.-T. A." The cast was as follows: Mrs. Lorana Fish, LaVern Lauritzen, Ethel Barlow, Lillie Howard, Susie Barlow, Elva Carling, Cleo Barlow, Julia Little, Blanche Laurizten and Elaine Lauritzen. Mr. and Mrs. Don Lauritzen and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lauritzen went to Hurricane Saturday afternoon after-noon on business. Don Lauritzen made a business trip to Kingman, Arizona last week, he took the county road grader down. Blanche and Elaine Lauritzen accompanied him. They visited the Boulder Dam and went out on the lake in a motor boat. |
