Show f Bridge Dedication Planned by Hurricane Announcement Is made by the Hurricane Chamber of Commerce that tlicy arc formulating pl;ins for :i bin bridge dedication and homecoming home-coming celebration to be held at the completion of the bridge over the Virgin river between Hurricane and LaVerkin. It is thought that the bridge will be completed the fore part of September. The committee in charge, plans to show the contrast between the original road traveled by the rionecrs through that section and the road of today. This bridge will be the longest and highest high-est In the state. It is of steel and concrete construction, making a span of the river in a graceful arch. Chamber Directors Dean Clark is the president presi-dent of the Hurricane Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce; T. I. Stan-north, Stan-north, vice-president; Wayne Hinton, secretary and treasurer; treas-urer; Paul II. Gates, Gene Wadsworth, Glen Williams, and George Grimshaw, directors. direc-tors. A full day's program Is outlined by the committee. Invitations will be sent to Governor Henry H. Blood and members of the State road commission.
