Show GUNLOCK MRS. MARY E. LEAVITT Reporter Most iQf our townspeople attended at-tended the Homecoming in St. George. They greatly enjoyed the grand time and the many relatives rela-tives and friends they met there. Mr. and Mrs. J. Rue Tyler and five of his Rhythym Kids from Los Angeles were in town Sat-urday Sat-urday andi Sunday visiting relatives rela-tives and friends. While here they gave two fine programs, one at the church Saturday evening and one in church Sunday. They were on their way to Beaver and other towns in the north where they are booked for several programs. pro-grams. Our school started on the 8th wth Glen M. Webb and Camilla Holt as teachers. Thomas Cottam of St. . George was here during the week putting in our out-door dance hall. Mrs. Lydia Blake of Oklahoma, Okla-homa, who has been visiting here for several days left Monday Mon-day for Ogden, Utah where she will visit for a few days before returning home. Eugene Leavitt of St. George was visiting here during the week. Vernon Leavitt made a trip to Salt Lake City to take his brother, bro-ther, Lester, where he will receive re-ceive medical treatment. Mrs. Leo Bowler has moved home from the Ivin ranch to get her son into school. Mrs. Max Hafen of Mesquite, Nevada is spending a few days here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Bowler. Most all of our young people have moved to St. George for the winter to attend the Dixie College. . |
