Show TERRY REUNION HELD TUES.-WED. AT ENTERPRISE Three hundred and forty descendants des-cendants of Thomas S. Terry Sr met for the first time in thirty-one thirty-one years, on Tuesday and Wednesday, Wed-nesday, September 1 and 2 in a reunion at the Terry ranch and in the ward hall at Enterprise. p in. t flfteen livinS children of Mr. Terry ten were present at the reunion. They are, Mrs Mary A. Huntsman, Mrs. Lydia Winsor, Luther Terry, Joseph A. Terry and Frank D. Terry all ot Enterprise, Nelson Terry of Delta, M r s . Josephine Wads-worth, Wads-worth, Mrs. Eva Lee of Panaca, Thomas S. Terry and Exie Blake of St. George. Ten other branches were represented. Mrs. Hannah Terry wife of Thomas S. These were served to the crowd. After the refreshments, Jimmie Potter of Huntington entertained the crowd with acrobatic stunts. Wednesday morning the affair was continued at the ranch with more people arriving. All report enjoying a second serving of the banquet after which the crowd returned to Enterprise and at 2 o'clock the following program was rendered to 350 people, a few of whom were invited guests, in the ward hall, with Claire Terry in charge. After the program ice cream and crackers were served to all present. In the evening a dance was enjoyed by all. Thomas S. Terry was a pioneer , of 1847 and had the distinction of ' helping to saw the lumber used in the first water wheel used in Salt Lake City also helped to make adobes used in the first house in Salt Lake and helped dig the first well in Salt Lake City. |
