Show J. M. Taylor, Yeteran Z.C.M.I. Salesman Dies J. M. Taylor, veteran Z.C.M.I. salesman of Salt Lake City, died in the McGregor hospital at 5 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25. following follow-ing eight days of illness. Brought to St. George from Kanab, he was found to have a ruptured appendix. appen-dix. Dr. L. W. McGregor reports his condition seemed favorable until Tuesday when hemorage developed de-veloped along with complications from diabetis from which he has suffered for years. Hemorage was stopped and transfusions made, but his heart collapsed. He was born in LeVan. Utah, September 19. 1S78. Mr. Taylor (Continued on page eight) J. M. Taylor Dies (Continued from first page) has, for 30 years, been making regular trips through this part of the state as Z.C.M.I. salesman. His genial personality has won him hundreds of friends who have watched anxiously since learning of his illness. With him at his death were his wife, his son, L. M. Taylor and wife; his daughter, Catherine (Mrs. B. R. McKay) and her husband, his son, Sherman, Sher-man, and two unmarried daughters. daugh-ters. Another son will join the family by plane from the east. The body, prepared at the Pickett Morturary, will be taken to Salt Lake City today (Thursday) where the funeral services will be held Sunday. Mr. Taylor has always referred to St. George as his other home and his family expressed appreciation for the consideration shown him by his friends in this city. |
