Show 1 Funeral Services Held Thursday For Mrs. Virgie C. Clements SPRINGDALE, Utah F u n e r a 1 services were held here Thursday Thurs-day morning, Dec. 7, for Mrs. Virgie C. Clements, 37, wife of A. B. Clements. Death came to Mrs. Clements after a lingering illness. Born at Rockville, Utah, Nov. 8, 1902, a daughter of Samuel K. and Lora Ann Christensen, Virgie Christensen married A. B. Clements in the St. George Temple June 10, 1937, and resided re-sided in Cedar City until last September when she removed to her mother's home here at Spring-dale Spring-dale to spend her remaining days with her people. . All her life a devout L.D.S., Mrs. Clements served as secretary secre-tary of Y.W.W.M.I.A. Sunday school primary as a teacher in Sunday school and M.I.A., an officer in the Genealogical society, member of the ward choir, ward librarian and counselor in the primary. She served as secretary of the D.U.P. organization and was relief society chorister in the Cedar City first ward until her death. She is survived by her husband; hus-band; one daughter, Christine, age four months; her mother, Lora A. Christensen ; five brothers, Herbert. Ronald, Lin-ford, Lin-ford, Ortho, Samuel K. and four sisters, Mrs. Nancy Crawford, Mrs. Lola Gifford, Elda and Lora, all of Springdale. Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed by Bp. Alvin Hardy. The music was furnished by the male quartet, quar-tet, consisting of Wilford, Larkin, Kendall and Carl Gifford; vocal solo by Wilford Gifford; duet. Mrs. Partha Russell and Mrs. Vera Allred; speakers, Bishop Hardy, John R. Crawford, Ernest Crawford. Bp.
