Show Cane Beds, Ariz. Mrs. Jos. T. Wilkinson Reporter Sid Potter went to Kanab Wednesday Wed-nesday on business. Walter Palmer was in Hurricane Hurri-cane Wednesday. Sickness is prevalent in Cane Beds, especially the flu. Francis Hinton left for La-Verkin La-Verkin this week where he has obtained employment. Mr. .and Mrs. Frank Thurston have returned from Logan where Mrs. Thurston has been visiting for some time. Mr. Thurston went up for the holidays only and brought his wife back with him. Mr. and Mrs. Dawn Lauritzen and children, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Lauritzen, Mrs. Reed Lauritzen and children and Mrs. J. M. Lauritzen met with Cane Beds people in church sessions Sunday. Snow has fallen the past day. or two and the weather is very cold. Mrs. Julia Leithead of Canaan ranch visited relatives in Cane Beds Saturday and Sunday. Snow or rain or both fell every day last week and the roads were nearly impassable, however, the mail carrier made every trip. Friday Fri-day evening there was quite a severe blizzard for several hours. Ernest Allen went to Glendale, Utah, Saturday. Most of the sick people in this locality are improving. The flu cases have been quite numerous. |
