Show Lions Club Forms Traffic Court For Own Members In conformity with the safety program that is being pushed throughout the state, the St. George Lions club has formed a Lions Traffic Court. This court will rule on its members who are seen breaking traffic laws in the city and will mete out judgment and collect fines. All money collected by the Lions Traffic Court will be used to buy "Safety Sally's" to be installed on the highway by the Elementary and Woodward school grounds. Those who are officers and will be on the lookout for Lions club traffic violators are as follows: Phil Spencer, Wendell Snow, Jack Ricketts, Bert Milne, Lee Owens and O. D. Lombardi. L. A. Porter is chairman of the committee com-mittee in charge. "We hope to make at least 50 good drivers in St. George", states Marion Snow, publicity director. "If we have that many who are 'safety conscious' we feel that it will react throughout the community com-munity and thereby help make St. George 'safety minded'." |
