Show Veyo Mrs. James F. Cottam Reporter H. L. Reid, who was missionary in sacrament meeting Sunday afternoon, af-ternoon, spoke on the early history his-tory of Dixie. Mrs. Dorothy Bledsoe of Comp-ton, Comp-ton, Calif., is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lem S. Leavitt, and other relatives. Mrs. Walker, Mrs. Richardson and Gordon Mathis were in Veyo Sunday in the interest of the Sunday school. Mrs. Leah Bucholz and small son of Salt Lake City are visiting relatives in Veyo for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bunker, who are living in St. George this winter, were in town Saturday. Bert Cheeney returned last Monday evening from several weeks in California. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Leavitt and family, living in St. George this winter, visited in Veyo Sunday. Emerald Seitz has been very ill the past two weeks, but is gaining gain-ing a little the past day or two. The storm has made it necessary neces-sary to postpone work on the new power line for a few days. |
