Show Mesquife, Nev. Mrs. D. L. Reber Reporter Funeral services for David Linge, who was accidentaly shot, were held here last Thursday. Music was furished by members of the choir. The speakers were Fenton Frehner. Aschel Barnum, J. Lewis Pulsipher and Joseph Earl. They all testified to the honesty and dependability of this young man and spoke of how much he was needed here. Besides his wife and five children, he has been taking care of his crippled uncle. Vic Hanealk' and his aged parents. All of his brothers and sisters were present except Clarissa Nickles of New York. Mrs. Arthur Tlughes, who has been bedfast for the past three weeks with heart trouble, is slowly slow-ly improving. Speakers in our sacrament meeting Sunday were Victor Knight. David Abbott and Wesley Hughes. We have a few cases of measles in town. The state highway department is surveying the streets and sidewalks side-walks preparatory to making new-curbed new-curbed sidewalks through town. They are also grading and improving im-proving side streets. The junior girls and their partners part-ners held a party at the home j of Mrs. Leonard Reber last Friday. |
