Show La Verkin Mrs. Alice Gubler Reporter Virgil Marler, accompanied by his sister and brother-in-law, made a short visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Irvil Sanders Tuesday. Mr. Marler was a former for-mer missionary companion to Mr. Sanders when they labored in the Southern States Mission. The visitors are from Louiston, Utah. Mrs. George Hardy returned home Tuesday after having spent the holiday season among relatives rela-tives at Springdale. Delbert Fairbourn of Salt Lake City was a holiday visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Winferd Gubler. Wm. E. Nielson left for Salt Lake last week to attend the funeral of an aunt. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Gubler returned with him where they spent two or three days visiting at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gubler, before returning to school at the B.Y.U. in Provo. Grant Button and his family have reunited at their home after a brief separation. Mr. Button has been away on a temporary sheep herding job. Mrs. Button and their three children spent the Christmas season at Las .Vegas, with her folks. Mrs. Lester Fuller has been confined to her bed for the past week, suffering from injuries received re-ceived from a fall. She has a broken rib and a punctured lung. She seems to be on the road to recovery. If we can measure the good times we've had by the let down afterwards a lot of us must have had an exquisite time during the holidays. Or is it that we just don't read the alkalizing ads? At any rate there are a sweet lot of colds in circulation. Mrs. Cyrus Gifford spent a few days at St. George last week doing Temple work. |
