Show ; La Yerkin ; Mrs. Alice Gubler ' Reporter A family party was held in '. honor of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Cub-' Cub-' ler. newlyweds. at the home of his '. parents. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gulv- ler Friday evening. There were relatives in attendance from St. ' George. Hurricane. Cedar City and LaVerkin. An interesting program was rendered after which lunch ' was served to 47 guests. The young ; couple left Sunday morning for ' Provo where Mr. Gubler will nl-' nl-' tend the B.Y.U. this coming season. Willard Duncan left Friday night for Ogden where he will enter school at the Weber college. The majority of our registered taxpayers appeared nt the polls Saturday to cast their vote concerning con-cerning the school bond election. Most of those who did not vote were out of town nt the time. The church welfare barbecue held at Hurricane Monday night to mark the closing of the canning season was enjoyed very much by those who attended from here. William E. Neilson and his two daughters, Quinta and Lu Peen. made a week-end trip to Salt Lake. Mr. Neilson's mother returned re-turned with them. She will visit here for a while. |
