Show Santa Ciara Mrs. Eliza Graff Reporter Carl Foster of St. George, spoke in our sacrament meeting here last Sunday. He related some very interesting incidents. Lena Ence spent Sunday at Oak Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Tobler of Washington and Mrs. Pratt Miles and two children were visitors here last Sunday. Mrs. Sylvan Graff and little son are spending a week at Escalante visiting with relatives. Miss Margarie Jolley of Nephi is here visiting with her sister, Mrs. Grant Graff. Mrs. Elva Young spent several days visiting with her parents in Alamo last week. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Pollock and children of Mesquite were visitors here last Saturday. Miss Clara Graff returned from Provo where she attended summer school. Dr. W. J. Reichmann and the County nurse were here last Thursday examining all the children child-ren under school age. Held Over From Last Week Mrs. Bud C. Green and Lorin Langston of Phoenix, Ariz, and Mrs. Heber Hirschi and two children child-ren of Rockville were Saturday visitors here with Mr. and Mrs. Grant Langston. Mr. and Mrs. Grant A. Graff and Mrs. Joseph Graff spent several days last week visiting relatives at Nephi. Ken Ence, Sylvan and trance L. Graff spent Saturday fishing at Gunlock. Charles Hafen and family went to Pine Valley on Monday for the day. Mr. and Mrs. Mason of Aurora, Utah, were visitors here at the home of their children, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Mason. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Graff, Mrs. Barbara Stucki, and Mrs. Landon Frei and baby returned from Hinkley. Utah, where they spent several days. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Gubler and family went to Salt Lake City for several days this past week. Ellis Reber left for Provo last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reber and two children spent July 21 at Pine Valley. Queen Isabella sold her jewels, history tells us, so that Columbus could discover America. Now it is going to cost the rest of us our shirts to keep the place running. |
