Show ENTERPRISE Enterprise, Feb. 20. We had speak to us in our meeting yesterday Amos F. Terry of Delta. His remarks were very timely and good. Quite a number of our people attended at-tended the Union meeting in St. George. Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bar-locher Bar-locher a son Feb. 14; mother and babe doing nicely. Quite a number of our men folks are home from Pioche where they have been working, having been laid off. Mrs. Julia Lytle has gone to Caliente Nev., to visit her daughter, Ella. James Baldwin and t31en Simkins left Saturday for Monroe. Mr. Baldwin Bald-win will bring his wife home and Mr. simkins will bring his team and outfits. out-fits. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Anderson are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Truman. Lewis Bastian is under the weather at his home. He was taken with a heart spell while en route to Modena for freight and fell from his wagon, he was alone and on regaining con-ciousness con-ciousness the team had stopped. It skinned his face and bruiesed him. He went on and got his load and returned re-turned home but has not been very well since. Our school teachers spent the week end in St. George. |
