Show I Tear Gas Will Warn J Motorist of Danger A former officer of the chemical chem-ical warfare service has suggested sug-gested the introduction of a drop 1 or two of tear gas into the carburetors car-buretors to prevent deaths from carbon monoxide poisonings in garages. The tear gas, dis- charged through the automobile exhaust, would warn the motor- ' ist warming up his engine if the air was becoming dangerously impregnated with the deadly carbon monoxide. When the motorist began to cry he would know that it was time for him to leave. |
