Show SPRINGDALE Springdale, Dec. 26. Mr-, and Mrs. David Lemmon and family spent Christmas and today here visiting with relatives. They expect to leave for St. George in the morning. The Sunday school gave a Christmas party Saturday night for everyone the children furnishing most of the program pro-gram which was enjoyed very much by all. Santa untied sacks of candy from the nice large tree while the boy scouts distributed them to all the children present. Hyrum Reusch was injured a few days ago in the leg by a rock falling on I him while on the new road in Zion his speedy recovery is hoped for by all. Larkin Gifford was taken to Hurricane Hurri-cane today to the doctor. On his way to work this morning he slipped on some ice and fell onto a sharp rock, so that he could not work. We hope his injury proved not serious. Mrs. Effie Reusch does not seem to improve much we are sorry to hear. Boyd Dennett, Miss Lillian Atkin and Miss Hirtense Batty our school teachers left Friday "for their homes in St. George and Hurricane to spend the Christmas holidays. Our high school students of St. George and Hurricane are home to spend the Christmas holidays. |
