Show WASHINGTON Washington. Deo. 27. A program was given Saturday night by the Primary Prim-ary association. Santa Claus was present pres-ent and gave each boy and girl a stocking stock-ing of candy and nuts. A special Christmas program was given in Sunday school Sunday morning-Elder Fay Iverson occupied the time in our Sacrament meeting Sunday afternoon af-ternoon giving a report of his mission, his talk showed he had been a careful care-ful student and faithful worker as a missionary. The school gave an excellent musical program Sunday evening. W. O. Nisson came home Friday from Fredona. Ariz., to spend the week with his family. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Wittwer arrived arriv-ed here from Minersville Saturday to spend the holidays with relatives. Mrs. Joseph Jolley of Spanish Fork arrived last week to spend some time with her mother, Mrs. Pernella Nisson. Mr. and Mrs. Lafell Iverson, Ida and May Jolley and Karl Larson came home from Hurricane Friday to spend the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Reber spent Sunday here from Santa Clara with their daughter, Mrs. Erma Iverson. Linda Larson is here from Enterprise to spend the holidays. Lydia Pearce is spending a few days here from Salt Lake. Nina Nisson left Sunday for Hurricane Hurri-cane to spend a few days. Thora Tobler came in Saturday from Cedar City where she has been for some time. Lafe Jolley of Cedar City spent Christmas day here with his parents. Bishop Iverson and wife is spending a few days at Santa Clara. A married folks dance was given Monday night. Wilford Stephens left Saturday morning for Beaver Dams. Rosella Tobler came home Friday from Virgin where she is teaching school to spend holidays with relatives. rela-tives. John Tobler and small son Jack is here from Overton, Nev., visiting with his sister, Mrs. William Tobler. Ethel Adams came in from Green River Saturday where she has been for some time. Mrs. Effie Tobler who has been visiting visit-ing with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eph Hall at Middleton for the past few weeks has returned to her home at Good Springs, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Williams are here from Kanarra. Our Sunday school has been reorganized, reor-ganized, Israel Neilson, Jr. was released releas-ed as Supt. and put in as head of the music department. Wallace Iverson was sustained as Supt. with Ernest Tobler and Golden Paxman as assistants. assist-ants. OHattie Paxman returned home Friday Fri-day from Bingham where she is teaching teach-ing school. Mr. and Mrs. James McCardell of Englewood, Calif., arrived Sunday to spend a few days with relatives. |
