Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS State of Utah, Office of State Road Commission, Salt Lake City, Utah, December 29, 1927. Sealed bids will be received by the State Road Commission of Utah, State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah, at 2 o'clock p. m. Friday, January 13, 1928, and at that time publicly opened for construction of a gravel surfaced road in Washington County the same being Federal 'Aid Project No. 80-A between Shivwitz and Summit of Beaver Dam Mountains. The length of road to be constructed or improved is 7.96 miles, and the principal prin-cipal items of work are approximately as follows: 12.500 c. y. solid rock excavation. 68,000 c. y. unclassified excavation and 16,200 c. y. gravel for surfacing. Plans and specifications are on file in the office of the State Road Commission, Com-mission, Salt Lake City, and at District Engineer's office at Cedar City where they may be reviewed by prospective bidders, Specifications, proposal, bidding bid-ding blanks and plans will be furnished furnish-ed at Salt Lake City, on depositing $5.00, which will be returned, providing contractor submits an acceptable bid and returns the plans within seven days after bids are received. Any additional ad-ditional information may be secured at the office of the State Road Commission. Commis-sion. Each bidder must submit a letter let-ter from an approved surety company guaranteeing to furnish said bidder with required bond. The right to reject re-ject any or all bids is reserved. Cash or certificate check for Five Thousand Dollars, ($5,000) made payable pay-able to the State Road Commission must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that i fawarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and give bond as required.
