Show ENTERPRISE Kntepviso, Sept. S. Our town is putting on a deserted appearance these days as so many of our young People are leaving for different points to attend school. We will have 31 students away at high school and college and four of our people away teaching and with 14 men folks away at Delta to work makes quite a hole in our social life. Education is a fine thing, students, so get all you can out of your schools. Mr. and Mrs. William Lund and Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Winsor returned home on Thursday from Salt Lake City and points north where they have been on business and pleasure. Mr. and Mrs. John Day, Sr., are home again after having spent several sever-al days in Long valley visiting relatives. rela-tives. Jacob T. Truman came home from the Calente-Pioche highway the other day, work being nearly completed. We had a most refreshing rain on Friday last and it has sprinkled and stormed nearby every day since. Several of our town people visited tho rodeo at Cedar City last week and report having a fine time. Miss Nina Spendlove of Hurricane is visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Huntsman. George O. Holt left for Salt Lake City Sunday, on business. Mr. and Mrs. Jos. A. Holt are in St. George, on a visit. |
