Parade Against Dawes Plan Paris, About 12,000 communists paraded in the streets in the industrial' indus-trial' suburb of St. Denis in pfotes; against the "Dawes plan of slavery for Ormany" and bearing placard demanding that France withdraw from the Kuhr and Morocco. Thills Thil-ls one of the most imposing demonstrations demon-strations the French communist have mustered for many months, bat sections of it were made highly ridiculous ri-diculous by placards directed against the Socialists. Some huge signs carried car-ried accused the Socialists of "conspiring "con-spiring with J. rierpont Morgan" to force the Dawes plan of "slavery and colonization" on Germany. Police punrds prevented incidents. Th-e suburb of St. Denis is predominantly communist and in possession ot a communist administration. |
