The successful candidates must be Eagles iho know and live the Scout oath and aff They must be physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight. Kout Thompson has received high recommendations from the local scout officials; and, while competition is keen, he has as good a chance as any one to gain the trip. The two Scouts chosen will write books of their travels, the books to be published. Part of the proceeds from the sale of these books will be used to pay for the expenses of the trip. |
