Show WEDDING RECEPTION FOR NEWLYWEDS Thursday evening, April 26, at the home of "Aunt Em" Cottam, a wedding wed-ding reception in honor of William T. Morris and Eliza May Robinson was given by a committee of Mr. Morris' co-workers at the St. George temple. The Cottam home was filled to capacity capac-ity with temple workers, friends and well-wishers of the bride and groom. The committee on entertainment was headed by Emma Squires. The program consisted of a spicy variety of readings, read-ings, duets, quartets, and instrumental numbers. Those participating were Mr. and Mrs. Sam Thompson, Thomas D., Luella and Beatrice Adams, Mrs. George Robinson, Albert Bryner, Emma Squires, Emma Cottam and members of the Morris family, including Mr. Morris himself. The program, originally origi-nally well planned and timed, was practically doubled by persistent encores en-cores and occupied the major part of the evening. p. .''"7" Squires and Mrs. Ruby Morris iSli a series of spirited games, after which ice cream and wafers were served. The couple received a splendid splen-did array of beautiful and useful presents. pres-ents. A profusion of Dixie flowers added charm to the evening. The bride and groom, who entered to the wedding wed-ding march from Lohengrin, and in both spirit and appearance completely cheated "Father Time." The committee in genera and Mrs. Squires in particular are to be complimented com-plimented upon both the arrangement and execution of the event. |
