Show MODENA Modena, May 2. The shearers are busy shearing sheep. They will have about two weeks' work now, then another an-other one in June. Mrs. Ethel Terry and daughter, Charlotte, Mrs. Nellie McDowell and Walter Huling were shopping at Cedar City Saturday. Mrs. Terry was a delegate dele-gate to the Republican convention. Miss Anna Chapman left Sunday for her school at San Marino Hall, Pasadena, Calif. She has fully recovered re-covered from her operation for ap- pendicitis. Ellis Miller has resigned his job on the railroad and has accepted a position posi-tion as cook at Pioche. Mrs. Clifford Anderson, wife of one of the section foremen, has returned from a visit with her parents in Provo. |
