Show NEW HARMONY New Harmony, Dec. 13. The selling sel-ling of the Christmas seals here was in the form of a contest among the school boys and girls from and including in-cluding the fifth grade up. The race seemed to be a tie, as all seals were sold at about the same time by both parties. They sold all seals that were allotted to Harmony. An ice cream party was held for them at the home of Melissa Hammond, Dec, 3rd, We have a splendid school this winter with Elmer Taylor and Fern Davis as teachers. We appreciate the new school building very much. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Macfarlahe of St. George, Merle Pace, Leslie, An-thon, An-thon, and Preston Pace were visiting here Sunday. Mrs. Velate Prince, who has spent some time with her sister, Mrs. Frank Petty of Cedar City returned home this week. Miss Ella Batty has returned to Kanarra after spending some time here at the home of Mrs. J. L. Prince. Ward conference was held here Sunday, being conducted by Elder Rodney Cox of Hamiltons. Ex-Bp. H. A. Pace and Bert Grant left this morning to move their goats south. Robert A. Kirker has been spending spend-ing some time in Cedar City. Our citizens greatly appreciate the recent storms we have had. Rulon and Leland Taylor are working work-ing in California. |
