Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Jones spent Saturday and Sunday here from Veyo. Eph. Foremaster and Charles Bas-tian Bas-tian left Tuesday for Holden, on business. Mason Rencher left Monday from Grass valley after spending a few-days few-days here. Reuben Gardner and daughter, Miss Effie, are visitors here from Pine Valley. William and Robert Wort lien came down Monday from Cedar City to stay for a while. Richard Taylor arrived Wednesday from Tia Juana, Mexico, intending to spend a few days. Mrs. William Wilson of Hurricane was operated on Monday for goiter at the hospital here. Orlin, Orin and Miss Leila Larsen arrived here last Saturday from Pay-son Pay-son to visit, friends. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph I. Earl arrived arriv-ed here Monday from Bunkerville, Nevada, to spend a few days. Dr. M. J. Macfarlane, and Dr. and Mrs. Frank Petty were down from Cedar City with the opera company. Mail your Christmas parcels early and be sure of them reaching their destination in plenty of time. Adv. W. and Henry Bergstrom spent Saturday and Sunday here with their father, O. P. W. Bergstrom, who is in a precarious condition due to a severe attack of pneumonia. Donald Ross Hout and Hazel Myers, both of Salt Lake City, obtained obtain-ed a marriage license from the county coun-ty clerk Wednesday, 16th, and were married last night by Bishop Frank G. Miles.
