Show ROCKVILLE Rockville, Dec. 14. The Christmas Christ-mas Seal sale committee report that they have succeeded in selling al! the seals allotted to them. Word has been recived here of the birth of a daughter recently to Mr. and Mrs. Orley Stapley of Cedar City. Mrs. Stapley was formerly Miss Irene Russell of this place. David A. Dennett had the misfortune misfor-tune to cut his knee quite badly while working on the road last Friday. The engineers working on the Pine creek survey are making their headquarters head-quarters here for the present. Mrs. Dewey Hirschi who has been Spending some time here returned to Hurricane last Wednesday. Kenneth Cannon and Miss Alice Gates, school teachers spent the week end in St. George. Construction work on the Rock-ville-Zion Park road is going on rapidly. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Terry and her new daughter are home from Hurricane. Hurri-cane. Miss Augusta Jennings spent a few days last week in Hurricane. Mrs. Phoebe Terry has been quite ill but is now on the improve. Leo Hirschi went to St. George Thursday on jury service. ' Mr. and Mrs. John Dennett spent Sunday in St. George. |
