Whipple and family before going to Pine Valley. Miss Maurine Whipple and Emil DeNuff of Salt Lake City arrived here Sunday for a two weeks' visit with Miss Whipple's Whip-ple's parents. Miss Whipple is suffering with a broken ankle caused by a fall from the steps of a street car. Dr. and Mrs. R. J. Pace and and daughter, Mrs. Martha Dal-ley Dal-ley of Los Angeles and Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Cottam of Provo arrived here Friday for a visit of -several days with relatives. While in southern Utah they expect ex-pect to make a tour of the parks. Miss La Prele Thorley of Cedar Ce-dar City spent the week end here visiting friends. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Lund and children of Marysvale left on Monday after a visit of several days here. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Cox and Mr. and Mrs. Jed Cox of Cedar City spent Saturday and Sunday Sun-day here visiting relatives. Olaff Anderson of Canby., Minn., arrived here Saturday for an indefinite visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Erick-son. Erick-son. Both have been attending attend-ing the University of Arizona, the former graduating last spring. They are en route to Salt Lake City to visit their mother, Mrs. Lois Smith. Mrs. Earl J. Bleak and daugh ter, Miss Thelma, left Monday for Los Angeles where they will visit relatives for two weeks. They were accompanied on the trip by Clawson and Ralph Bleak, sons of Dr. Alfred Bleak of Los Angeles, who have been visiting here for the past three weeks. Elwood Roniney. James Need-ham Need-ham and Arthur Grant of Provo j came down Friday and visited here until Sunday. They were accompanied on the return trip , by Mrs. Elwood Romney and baby who have spent a month here and in Santa Clara with .relatives and also Miss Roxey j Romney who will visit for a i week in the north. |
