Show BRIDGE MOUNTAIN CAMP NP-4 The inter-barracks basketball tournament came to a close last 'Saturday, January 5, 1935, with the Barracks 4 team carrying off the honors by winning a hard fought game from Barracks 3. Though the Barracks 3 team carried car-ried a small lead all through the game until the last two minutes of play, Barracks 4 stepped out in the lead to win by a small margin with the score 19 to 16. Bridg. General Pegram Whit-worth Whit-worth and his son, Pegram, Jr., stopped here for a few hours Saturday, January 5, 1935, on their way home from the Alabama-Stanford game. Both father and son are Alabama Ala-bama graduates. Plans are being laid for a company dance to be held Friday, Fri-day, January 18, 1935. Committees Commit-tees on entertainment, refreshments, refresh-ments, music and transportation have been selected and we are planning on the hot&st dance ever ev-er held in Zion Canyon. The public is invited. , Eurollees Vernon Kite, George May, and Max Granville were discharged dis-charged January 1, 1935, due to the fact that they had accepted accept-ed employment that will better their conditions. |
