Show LITTLEFIELD, ARIZ. Our teachers, Clarissa Smith and Stanley Shumway returned on Wednesday from their Christmas Christ-mas holiday at home. School started Thursday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Ricks and Miss Clarice Leavitt attended the funeral fun-eral of Frank Nevin at St. George on Friday. Sarah, Vivian and Harrison McKnight returned to their home at Carp, Thursday. They had been visiting here with their grandmother, Mrs. Sarah McKnight Mc-Knight during the holiday season. Mr. and Mrs. Afton Reber have moved back home again from Glendale, Nevada where Mr. Reb-. er has been working. Bishop Harold Reber and Joseph Jo-seph Frehner attended high counsel coun-sel meeting at Overton, Saturday. Satur-day. Miss Ruby Leavitt returned home Thursday from Carp where she spent the past month working. work-ing. J. C. Kelso has been sick with a bad cold. But is much improved im-proved at present. Mrs. Ruion Abbott and son. Sheldon returned to their home at Mesquite, Nevada last week. Our town seems rather short on population again since so many have gone back to school after their holiday. Lillith and Wilma Reber, Rex Peterson, Jay Leavitt, and Ber-nice Ber-nice Reber returned to Virgin High at Bunkerville; Carma and Gertrude Frehner to Dixie at St George and Ora and Lucille Frehner Freh-ner to Tempe College, at Tempe, Arizona. Mrs. Henrietta Frehner returned re-turned to St. George Sunday to resume her work in the temple. She spent a very enjoyable two weeks vacation with her children and friends. |
