Karl, Murray and Miss Edith Harrison Har-rison spent the latter part of last week here from Newcastle. Mrs. Venice Decker, who had been here visiting about a week, left for her home at Parowan Sunday. Mrs. Erastus Gardner left for her home at Pine Valley Tuesday after spending the past winter here. Mrs. Alice Spendlove of Hurricane came down Saturday and is at the local hospital for medical treatment. She is reported to be doing nicely. Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Snow, their son Eric and daughter, Miss Eldia, left Sunday for Salt Lake City, expecting to be gone about 10 days, except Eric who is on his way to the British mission mis-sion field. Mr. and Mrs. Will Pace and younger young-er members of their family arrived here Saturday from Richfield to spend Mothers' day with Mr. Pace's mother, Mrs. John E. Pace. They were accompanied by the bride's mother, Mrs. Altheria Gregerson who goes for a short visit. One of the new Ziou Park busses was here Tuesday. They are handsome hand-some and comfortable looking cars, gray in color and appear to be powerfully power-fully engined. They are intended to carry eleven passengers. |
