Show LA VERKIN La Verkin, Aug. 22. About 10 carloads car-loads of Elberta peaches were shipped the past two weeks to Salt Lake City, besides tons that were trucked to local markets." Porter and Elden Porter of Hatch were down after af-ter fruit last week. Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Peterson of Manti and Mrs. Wm. Thorpe of Salt Lake City were visitors at the home of Loren D. Squire last week. Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Graff and children child-ren were Zion park visitors Sunday. Nellie Stout left last week for a three-weeks' visit in Richfield. Miss Lucile Sanders and Miss Norma Stout are Salt Lake City visitors visit-ors this week. Bill Sanders spent the week end in Cedar City visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Bard of Richfield were visitors at Moroni Sanders' home last week. Mrs. Fern Jackson and children of Fredonia. Ariz., are visiting relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. LaFell Iverson of New Harmony were visitors here Sunday. |
