Show HURRICANE Hurricane, August 23. A party of about forty persons camped here Monday night on their way from Zion National park, where they had been to the Draper family reunion. Among them was John Terry and members of his family of California also others of our former Dixie friends. Mrs. Joseph May and children of . Las Vegas, Nevada, spent a few days' visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Wilson. Mrs. R. B. Gibson of St. Thomas. Nevada, has been here the past two weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Hinton. ; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Gibson of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Dell Smith of Cedar City have been here visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Gibson. Mrs. Regina Johnson of Beaver has been here visiting her parents, Mr. ' and Mrs. Thomas Isom. Mrs. Annie Lynn of Lovell, Wyoming, Wyom-ing, spent the week end visiting relatives rela-tives and friends here. J. E. Wright and wife of Hinckley are here visiting relatives nnc1 friends Wm. R. Palmer and family of Cedar Ced-ar City came in Sunday to visit relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Mary Campbell went to the funeral of her grandchild at Kanarra Saturday, the infant of Mr. and Mrs. Lysle Piatt. Mrs. Annie M. Webb of St. George is here putting up fruit. C. E. Humphries of Hinckley has been hauling fruit to northern points. Many truckmen from northern points have been here purchasing fruit the past week. Mrs. James Jepson has gone to northern points for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Clabe Walker of are here visiting the latter's mother, Mrs. Josephine Workman. Mrs. Janey Cox came home from Cedar City last week, bringing her son, Luther and wife with her. |
