Show SPRINGDALE j Springdale. April .IS. A farewell j pary was given last Thursday night ; for Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Gifford, Jr.. i and family, who have gone to Nevada : for the summer. Everyone seemed i to enjoy themselves. Mr. Gifford I has been ward clerk in this ward for i the past nine years. Mrs. Gifford i was a class leader in the Relief So- ciety and in other ways they were useful people in the ward and enm-! enm-! munity. They will be missed very much. Mrs. Emily A. Gifford. Mrs. Free- born Gifford Mrs. Samuel K. Cravv-! Cravv-! ford. Mrs. Daniel Crawford and I. II. Langston have returned home after I doing a week's work in the St. George temple. i Wm. 11. Gifford has gone to Cedar I City to meet his wife, who is just j returning home after an extensive 1 stay in California with her daughter. '; Mrs. Harold Ilogan. I Izola Gifford, small daughter of , Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Gifford. has been J very low with pneumonia but is now i improving. Our wishes are for her I speedy recovery. ; Nathanial Lemmoii. IVn-! nett and Rupert Ruesch. who are at-j at-j tending school at St. George spent j the week end here visiting their j folks. i Au.-tin Gifford left this morning ; early with his brother. M. E.
