Show D. C. ISIC DEPT. GIVES GRAJOCONCERT The annual concert of the Dixie College Band, given last Thursday night in the D. C. auditorium, under direction of the instructor, Earl J. Bleak, was really wonderful. This is not surprising so far as the advanced advanc-ed baud is concerned, for under Mr. Bleak's capable and untiring leadership leader-ship their progress toward perfection has been noted upon many occasions but in the case of the junior band the concert was a revelation. Mr. Bleak has only had these youngsters since last September and the progress they have made since that time is really remarkable. They presented a very-good very-good appearance in their neat suits on the stage. St. George has long been known for its attainments along musical lines, and if we are not very much mistaken it will make a much greater great-er name in the future. We feel safe in predicting that Dixie musicians, vocal and instrumental, (including piano,) and musical organizations will make a wonderful record in the future. Splendid indeed was the program rendered by the advanced band. It is too bad that such an exceptionally fine band should have to break up with the close of school. We hope Prof. Bleak will keep as many of the present band members together as possible for he has brought them to a great stage of perfection, reflecting high credit on him as an instructor. The program follows: Junior Band Liberty Boys March (Epperson); Reverie, "Sunbeams," (Epperson); Endeavor March.
