Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS State Engineer's Office, Salt Lake City, Utah, September 18, 193. Notice is hereby given that D. W. Gibson, Hurricane, Utah, and Frank Pocock, Los Angeles, California, Cal-ifornia, have made application in accordance with the laws of Utah, to appropriate 160 sec. ft. and 32,000 ac. ft. of water from Virgin river, East Fork of Virgin river and Big creek in Washington and Kane Counties Utah. Said 32,-000 32,-000 ac. ft. of water will be stored from Jan. 1st to Dec. 31st incl. of each year in the natural channels of said streams, the centers of the impounding dams of which are located as follows: (1) Virgin Vir-gin river, 15,000 ac. ft. S. 230' E. 6497 ft. from NE cor. Sec. 19, T. 41 S., R. 12 W.; (2) East Fork Virgin river, 12,000 ac. ft., S. 200 ft. of E cor. Sec. 12, T. 42 S., R. 9 W.; and (3) Big creek, 5,000 ac. ft., S. 1,000 ft. and W. 800 ft. from cor. Sec. 12, T. 39 S., R. 11 W., S.L.B. & M. The water from East Fork and Big creek reservoirs will be released into the natural channels of said streams and allowed to flow to the Virgin river reservoir from which it will be diverted, together togeth-er with said 160 sec. ft. direct flow and released storage from said latter reservoir, from Jan. 1st to Dec. 31st incl. of each year at a 'point which bears S. 230" E. 200 ft. from the center of the impounding dam of said Virgin river reservoir. The water so re- leased and diverted will be conveyed con-veyed by tunnel and canal to Bench Lake reservoir, from which it will be released by tunnel outlet out-let at a point S. 1500 ft. and W. 500 ft. from the NE cor. of Sec. 19, T. 42 S., R. 13 W., S. L. B. & M. and used to irrigate 16,000 acres of land embraced in parts of the following legal subdivisions: subdivi-sions: (Sees, i to 10 incl., 15 to 21 inch, 29 to 32 incl., T. 42 S., R. 13 W.; Sees. 28 to 32 inch, T. 41 S., R. 13 W., Sees. 1, 2, 10 to 15 inch, 21 to 32 inch, T. 42 S., R. 14 W.; Sees. 4 to 8 incl., 15 to 21 incl., 28 and 29, T. 43 S., R. 14 W.; Sees. 25, 35 and 36, T. 42 8., R. 15 W.; Sees. 1, 2, 9 to 16 incl., 19 to 36 inch, T. 43 S., R. 16 W., S. L. B. & M. This application is designated in the State Engineer's Office as File No. 11784. All protests against the granting grant-ing of said application stating the reasons therefor, shall be submits ted in affidavit form and in duplicate, dupli-cate, accompanied by a fee of $1.00 and filed in this office within with-in 30 days after the completion of the publication of this notice.
