Show LA VERKIN La Yerkin, August 2 4. President N'icholes, Prof. McAllister, Wesley Pearce and Misses Ruth Winsor, Gertrude Fawcett, and Edith Fawcett of the Dixie college were here last Sunday and rendered a very fine musical program in Sunday school which was thoroughly enjoyed by all present. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Barnhurst of Hatch stopped to visit here a few days last week at the home of Wm. Sanders. They left Friday for St. George to prepare for their work in the temple. Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Barnhurst arrived ar-rived here last week from Hatch and are visiting at the home of Mrs. Barnhurst's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Sanders. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gubler of Cedar City spent the week end visiting visit-ing here at the home of Joseph E. Gubler. The Misses Nettie and Zola Smith of Beaver city are here visiting at the home of Bishop Morris Wilson. Elder Alvin C. Hardy returned Monday from a 27 months mission in the Southern States. Glen P. Woodbury came home from Cedar City last Saturday to stay j a few days. J. Edward Gubler has purchased j the R. E. Fletcher home and land. Mr. and Mrs. Jed Cox spent the week end here from Cedar City. ! Miss Mary Dalton of Beaver City was a visitor here last week.
