Show CLERK MAKES STATEMENT OF SCHOOJJSONEY Detailed Report Given of All School District Expenses Ex-penses -for the Year July 1, 1930, to June 30, 1931 The annual financial statement state-ment of the Washington county school district for the period from July 1, 1930, to June 30, 1931, is published in this issue of the News. The report is in detail showing an itemized statement state-ment of all moneys received, and paid out, to whom, and for what paid, in accordance with the Utah law. The report shows that the disbursements for the school year amounted to $155,626.62, and the receipts totaled $157,5S1.35. General administration expense cost the district $7,037.06. The salaries of elementary and high school teachers amounted to $72,085.78. Text books purchased cost $1,-294.64; $1,-294.64; school supplies, $1,-597.79; $1,-597.79; health work, $S6.19; and library books, $955.76. Transportation of students to and from schools cost the district dis-trict $2,967.67. Wages of janitors' amounted to $4,316.72, and janitorial supplies sup-plies $878.61. The amount spent for fuel was $2,377.65; water and electricity, elec-tricity, $389.23, and other operating op-erating expense, $80.76.
