Show VEYO Veyo, May 2 4. Work is progressing progress-ing nicely on the Dixie Power Co. reservoir res-ervoir in the Sand Cove. The dirt is being moved into the dam by an electric hoist, or tram. Two eight-hour eight-hour shifts are running daily. Mrs. Fred Chadburn has returned from the hospital at St. George. She will return in a couple of weeks for an operation. Reports from the union meeting held in St. George May 16th were very good. A number of our people were there. Riding for cattle has commenced here. Cattle will be counted on the reserve June 1st. Haying has commenced in this locality, lo-cality, crop about as usual. We are having a real cool spell and high wind. |
