Eagle Scout Gutke is a member of troop 54 of the Logan council of scouts. Just one year ago he was a tenderfoot scout. Today he has earned twenty-one merit badges twelve of which are required. These merit badges signify that he has attained proficiency in first aid, life saving, swimming, personal health, cooking, camping, pathfind-ing, pathfind-ing, pioneering, civics, bird study and athletics or physical development, develop-ment, among the elective merit badges which he earned were those in agriculture, scholarship, poultry raising, craftmanship and cycling.
