Show ENTERPRISE Enterprise, April 5. Last Thursday Thurs-day evening our school, under the direction of W. C. Staheli and Mable Terry, presented the opera "Polished Pebbles." Howard Holt as Old Black Joe. Orpha Alger as Mrs. O'Brian, Nellie Holt and Hazel Terry as her daughters, Zoretha Hall and Delbert Peterson as Mr. and Mrs. Gabble and Leora Farnsworth as Rosalie were all very good. Everybody Every-body enjoyed it, and made mention that the teachers should be proud to offer such good entertainment. Misses Thora Lamb and Alta Holt, Carl Crawford, Alma Truman, Dur-ward Dur-ward Terry, Bird Terry, Rulon Bas-tain Bas-tain and Edward Hunt spent Easter , Sundary home from St. George, where they are attending the D. C. Mrs. Melinda Terry, who is very ill j with pneumonia, is reported to be improving. Her sister, Mrs. Minnie ! Edwards and daughter, Mrs. Roxie j Keel, came from Panaca, Nevada, to j be with her. j Quite a number of our young folks attended the Junior Prom in St. ' George last Friday. Misses Ruth 1 Winsor and Verna Harmon spent the j week end at their home there. I Mr. and Mrs. Mark Worthen spent i Easter Sunday with Mrs. Worthen's sister and brother, Mrs. Marcia Truman Tru-man and Glen Simkins of this place. We are being favored with nice April showers and it looks very favorable favor-able for more, which will be wel- come. ! "Aunt Lydia" Winsor has gone to California to spend some time with her son Luther, who is living there. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Pulsipher and Miss Elizabeth Snow spent Easter at Pine Valley. |
