Show LOST CITY RODEO, ST. THOISJPR. 23-24 A real good time is promised visitors visit-ors to the big Lost City Pageant, to be held at St. Thomas. Nev., on the night of April 24. This will be the second year of this already famous pageant, and judging by the success of last year's presentation this year should witness a much larger attendance. attend-ance. The Lost City pageant is a historical histor-ical spectical depicting scenes from the prehistoric past to the present development of the State of Nevada. The ruins of the prehistoric city, thousands of years old, have been partly reconstructed by Indians and convey a very fair impression of how the Indians lived in those days. Big Rodeo The Lost City Rodeo will be held at St. Thomas two days, April 23rd and 24th, under management of Luther Swaner, Jim Hudson and Albert Al-bert Bowers. Thousands of dollars in prizes will be given away and efforts ef-forts are being put forth to make of this the best rodeo ever held in this section of the country. The events include goat roping, rope hors' races, saddle horse races, bull riding, wild horse riding, single tie steer roping, broncho riding, relay races, novelty races, etc. ' St. Thomas is making arrangements arrange-ments to care for a large number of visitors, and everybody will be made to feel at home. St. George and this section will probably be well represented. |
