Show STATE LAND IN KANE COUNTY IS CLASSIFIED Another large classification of state school lands as nonmineral in character was received yesterday by Eli F. Taylor, register of the United States land office, from the commissioner commis-sioner of the general land office. On recommendation of the field service the commissioner classifies 10,880 acres as nonmineral at the time of the enabling act, and as a consequence conse-quence the state's right is undisputed. undisput-ed. The land is near the Arizona border in Kane county. Technically the descriptions are as follows: Sections 16, 32 and- 36 of township 43 south, range 1 west; section 2, township 44 south, range 1 west; sections 2, 16, 32 and 36, township town-ship 43 south, range 2 west; section 2', township 44 south, range 2 west; section 3 6, township 43 south, range 3 west; section 2, township 41 south, range 3 west; section 32, township 43 south, range 1 east, and sections 16 and 32, township 43 south, range 2 east. The register has received nuniber-ous nuniber-ous classifications as nonmineral on state lands in the last severa 1 days, with the result that thousands of acres ac-res have been clear-listed.
