Show CORRESPONDENCE COURSES AT DIXIE COLLEGE j The Extension Division of the Dixie College, with B. Glen Smith as chairman, chair-man, now has several courses to offer high school and college students. The purpose of the Extension Division Divi-sion is to give students who cannot regularly attend school the opportunity opportun-ity of advancing in educational lines. To meet this aim outlines have been prepared for work in the following subjects. High School English Literature, unit; Modern Mod-ern History, 1 unit; American History, His-tory, 1 unit; Algebra a, 1 unit; Plane Geometry, 1 unit. College American Poetry, 3 hours; History of American Literature, 6 hours; English I, 3 hours; Modern History, 6 hours; Rural Sociology, 3 hours; Educational Psychology, 4 hours; Principles of Education, 4 hours. Work in these courses may start at any time, but must be completed within one year from the date of registration. reg-istration. Fees for correspondence work are as follows: One unit or less of high school work, $7.50; 12 hours or less of college work, $7.50. Additional credit will cost on the basis of $7.50 per high school unit, or 65; per college hour. Make application applica-tion for work to B. Glen Smith, in care of the college. |
